Cloud computing is another Cleveland Public Library first. It’s the MyCloud service. No other library in the country has anything quite like it. Ground-breaking technology from Hewlett-Packard and Citrix makes the ultimate customized computer experience possible. Now, instead of patrons having to carry around thumb drives to save files, they can save files, install software, or save favorites on a laptop-like device called a thin client, so that whatever is downloaded or created on a thin client is saved on “the cloud” for their future use.
