Tricia Springstubb has published over a dozen books for young readers. What Happened on Fox Street was published by HarperCollins in August 2010.  Her adult fiction and essays have appeared in numerous literary journals, including The Iowa Review, Hunger Mountain, and Brain, Child, and she’s a frequent book critic for The Plain Dealer.  She is the recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Award for Excellence, a Cleveland Lit Lantern Award, the 2009 Iowa Review Fiction Award, and the Howard Frank Mosher Short Fiction Award.  She was named one of  Cleveland Magazine’s 2011 Most Interesting People. Springstubb has had many jobs besides writing, the best of which is being a mother.  She and her husband Paul have three grown daughters.  Originally from New York, she’s made her home in Cleveland Heights for nearly thirty years.
