Here's the scoop: The Ingenuity Festival is all about the intersection of art and technology. 2008 marks the third year that the Cleveland Public Library has been involved with this innovative endeavor. This year the Cleveland Public Library and Cleveland State University Library have created a set of 8 collectible trading cards to illustrate the art and technology behind the exhibits and programs you'll see at Ingenuity. You can collect the cards at the Ingenuity Festival from 1-5 on Saturday, July 26th, and Sunday, July 27th, from the friendly folks in the bright orange t-shirts. Some of the cards will also be available in the Cleveland Public Library bookmobile. After you've collected all 8 cards, bring them to the CPL table on the lower level of the Idea Center building (located in Playhouse Square) to claim your prize. The first 25 kids (aged 15 and younger) to collect all 8 cards on Saturday or Sunday will receive a mini Etch-A Sketch from Ohio Art. |
OTHER LIBRARY-SPONSERED EVENTS: Learn origami from 2-4 on Saturday & Sunday Many historical images on display from CSU's Cleveland Memory Project
