Since 2000, the Cleveland Public Library’s Writers & Readers series has been showcasing the Library’s role in promoting books and reading to the Greater Cleveland Community. Made possible through the Cleveland Public Library Founder's Fund, the series features a spectrum of talented writers who speak about literature, their works, and the creative process. Past authors include Margaret Atwood, Nikki Giovanni, Walter Mosley, Robert Pinsky, Sister Souljah, Alice Hoffman, Luis Rodriguez, Geraldine Brooks, Rita Dove, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and many others.
All Writers & Readers events are FREE and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come first-serve basis.
Books will be available for sale by A Cultural Exchange at all Writers and Readers events.
