In 2012, Cleveland plays host to Bouchercon 2012, the annual world mystery convention. In honor of Bouchercon, the Library presents a free panel discussion with three world-acclaimed mystery authors.
Linda Fairstein is the author of an internationally best-selling series of crime novels featuring Manhattan prosecutor Alexandra Cooper. The fourteenth in the series, Night Watch, debuted in July 2012 and was an instant New York Times bestseller.
Karin Slaughter is the number one best-selling author in five countries. She has been honored by Amsterdam's Crimezone Thriller Awards four times and is a recipient of France’s Prix des Lectureurs literary prize.
Mark Billingham, UK crime novelist, television screenwriter, actor and stand-up comic, is the best-selling author of the series of crime novels featuring London-based detective Tom Thorne. Billingham is the only author to win the Theakston’s Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award twice.
All Writers & Readers events are FREE and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come first-serve basis.
