As a CPL card holder, your borrowing status may be blocked for one of the following reasons:
- You have 10 or more items overdue on your account
- You have more than 50 items checked out on your account
- You have $25.00 or more in fines
- Your card has expired
- Library cards, like drivers licenses, expire after a two year period. You can renew your library card by visiting any branch of the Cleveland Public Library and presenting the proper form of identification.
Please remember that you must have a library card in good standing to use the public computers managed by the Library’s reservation software.
