About the Department
TechCentral is an innovative technology and learning center located in the Lower Level of the Louis Stokes Wing of the Main Library. TechCentral offers a variety of computer and technology related services, including:
- Computer and Internet access including Microsoft Windows and Office 2010
- Adaptive technology stations
- Computer instructional classes
- MakerLab hands-on and creative programming
- Copying, printing, scanning, and faxing services (fees)
- 3D Printing Services
- Wireless Internet access with convenient power outlets
- Family and collaborative work areas

Computer Instruction and Computer Lab
Attend one of our free public computer classes held on a variety of computer and technology related topics. When not being used for classes or events, the TechCentral Computer Lab on the second floor may be reserved for personal or group use by calling 216-623-2980.

MakerLab hands-on and creative programming
Learn how to create something new by attending one of our MakerLab series programs. From learning how to 3D print or creating your own unique font, to making duct tape wallets or digital abstract art, MakerLabs are a great way to be creative and ‘make’ something new. MakerLab Program Descriptions
