About the Department
TechCentral is an innovative technology and learning center located in the Lower Level of the Louis Stokes Wing of the Main Library. TechCentral offers a variety of computer and technology related services, including:
- Computer and Internet access including Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs
- Microsoft Office products including Office 2010
- Adaptive technology stations
- Computer instructional classes
- Copying, printing, scanning, and faxing services (fees)
- Wireless Internet access with convenient power outlets
- Family and collaborative work areas

Computer Instruction and Computer Lab
Attend one of our free public computer classes held on a variety of computer and technology related topics. When not being used for classes or events, the TechCentral Computer Lab on the second floor may be reserved for personal or group use by calling 216-623-2980.

3D Printing
This innovative new technology allows users to create objects in three dimensions using a plastic ‘ink’. Create a 3D model using special software and bring your ideas into reality.
MyCloud Personalized Computing Experience

Tech ToyBox
Experience some of the latest technology gadgets and get hands-on with devices like the iPad 3, Kindle Fire, Kindle Touch, NOOK Color, or Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Borrow one of the devices to take home for one week and learn about the device on your time.
Flexible Learning Space & SMART Board
An open learning space complete with an interactive SMART Board provides a flexible learning space that can be used in a variety of different and innovative ways. Attend one of our ‘impromptu classes’, Check-out-a-Trainer for one-on-one assistance, or work collaboratively with a small group.
