Collection Highlights

The David E. Davis Sketchbook Collection is a wonderful primary source for research about this sculptor. It includes sketchbooks, correspondences, a video tape, newspaper and journal articles, text from lectures and photocopies of writings.

David E. Davis (1920-2002) is a noted Cleveland sculptor and painter who founded the Sculpture Center in Cleveland, Ohio in 1990. This was a gift to the Cleveland Public Library from his wife, Bernice Sapirstein Davis in 2005. For more information call 216-623-2818.
