Car, Truck and Motorcycle Repair Info

Car repair

Did you know that your library is the place to go for vehicle repair information?

The Science & Technology Department maintains one of the largest car collections in the area.

Here’s a sneak peek:

Electronic Databases: Motor ALLDATA Online and Mitchell OnDemand DVD repair databases provides diagnostic and repair information for vehicles from the early 1980s to date. Included are troubleshooting charts, computer codes, printable repair and wiring diagrams, parts and labor data and Technical Service Bulletins (updated daily).

Repair Manuals: We’ve got everything from the pocket-sized manual for the 1911 Ford Model T to today’s massive, multi-volume sets. The collection includes factory manuals, Chilton’s, Haynes, Bentley and Clymer manuals. Domestic, foreign and imported cars, trucks, SUV’s and vans are covered.

Vacuum and Wiring Diagrams allow users to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, wiring and vacuum problems in cars, trucks, vans and SUVs.

Medium and Heavy Duty Truck Manuals from Motor and OEMs provide hard-to-find repair information for dump trucks, delivery trucks and tractor-trailer cabs. We even have some manuals that cover specialty vehicles like construction equipment and motor-home chassis.

Motorcycle Repair Manuals cover a wide range of models from BMW to Yamaha, including street bikes, dirt bikes, off-roads and ATVs (two-wheel and four-wheel).

Auto Repair and Bodywork Textbooks provide a solid foundation for those entering the field or just brushing up their backyard-mechanic skills. ASE study guides help professionals achieve coveted ASE certification.

Restoration Guides help hobbyists and car-show enthusiasts to rebuild and restore their classic cars.
