As was the case in previous years, 2012 was another year of decreasing budgets for the Library, as revenue continued to decrease from the State budget, as well as from diminishing local property taxes. Cleveland Public Library once again proved that it could spend money strategically through data-driven decisions to provide more services with fewer dollars.
